Who we are

Sinter is operated in connection with Midnight Labs. This notice describes how we handle personal information for the Sinter web application and related services.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the product, we may collect or process:

• Account details you provide (such as name and email) and authentication identifiers from our identity provider.
• Content you submit to the product (such as questions, stances, voice notes, and library material).
• Billing-related information processed by our payment provider (for example Stripe), not payment card numbers on our own servers.
• Technical and usage data needed to run and secure the service (such as device or browser metadata and product telemetry you have not opted out of).

Why we use it

We use personal information to provide and improve the service, authenticate users, bill paid plans, and meet legal obligations.

Storage and security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Disclosure

We may share information with subprocessors that help us operate the product (for example hosting, identity, payments, and analytics where enabled). We do not sell personal information.

Overseas recipients

Your information may be processed in Australia and in other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete certain information, or to object to some processing. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law.

Children

Sinter is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a revision. Continued use of the product after changes may constitute acceptance where the law allows.
